George Bass
MESA Consulting started when Kennesaw State University asked me to speak to a large multi-national corporation about the efficacy of direct marketing. I had been working as an adjunct faculty member teaching marketing, direct marketing, sales and sales management for six years at the time and it seemed a natural fit as my real world experience of running companies mirrored what they wanted to know. I realized that though I had been successfully running businesses in Chicago and Atlanta for 20 years there was a demand for my specialized skills by other companies and thus MESA was born. I used what I had learned in some of the most rigorous sales training programs in Fortune 500 companies as well as medium sized sales organizations to help design the MESA systems which today helps drive substantially more revenue than expense for the companies that implement them.
In 2020 George joined 
Alana Bass, CPA where he handles the office management, Bookkeeping, Sales and Marketing while Alana Bass focuses on Accounting, Taxes and working as an outsourced CFO for numerous clients. When I met Alana at the University of Florida, I was already in business school having worked as a salesman after graduating college. I only saw business from the Revenue side of things and had a difficult time understanding how companies valued people in Cost Centers. As the founder of three companies (two successful and one not) I quickly became aware that earning money was only half of a p&l. As an Adjunct Professor at KSU where I teach both the undergrads and the EMBA's, I've made it my mission to look at businesses as a whole and show others how to do the same. In order for Alana Bass, CPA to grow, there needed to be an office manager, Bookkeeping Supervisor and Marketer and it's my pleasure to do all of these. I believe people only engage in free trade if they're better off than they were if they didn't. And I know that working with Alana Bass, CPA makes everyone better off.
